DuPONT TRAIL RIDES

Channing Hubbard retired as Property Manager for the Dupont Plant in 1991. Having managed the property when it was not open to public, it was always a tremendous pleasure to share it with plant visitors. His family enjoyed many years of camping, 4 wheeling, and hiking on the property. Olivia enjoyed these times as well. Now, being open to the public, the property is accessible only on foot, bike or horse. Not to be partial, but on horseback is our pick for the most relaxing way to view the forest and multiple waterfalls throughout.

Trail rides are available year round weather permitting. We are willing to customize a trail ride for time and experience, but these are a few suggestions:

Wrangler Adventure: A 1 to 2 hour trail ride beginning at the farm and accessing the Dupont Forest by way of the Guion Trail. This adventure is $30 per person per hour.

Buck Forest Explorer: A 3 to 4 hour ride through the scenic trails of the forest. Together we can plan our ride to see points of interest. This longer ride is discounted to $27 per person per hour.

A Day at Dupont: The seemingly endless trails, waterfalls, and scenic overlooks can easily make a full day of adventure. We can pack a lunch and enjoy a day of horseback riding at Dupont Forest. Trails rides lasting more than 4 hours are $25 per person per hour.
